Hello All! Let me begin by saying I did have my home inspected before I closed a month ago. There were no major problems found during my 4+ hour inspection and I was overjoyed. I had a reputable company come out to clean my gutters and the guy informed me that I have several soft spots on my roof and that it needs to be replaced. I watched my home inspector climb up on my roof and inspect my attic. He said that there was no problem with the roof at all.

At this point I need a trusted roof inspector so that I can figure out what I have gotten myself into. I didn't want a home that needs a roof, but it seems I may have one.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try Bell Roofing, or Findlay Roofing. My partner just bought a house, knowing it needed a new roof. These are suggestions from people she knows. They seemed pretty knowledgable when they came out for estimates. We're still in the estimate phase.
