West Enders! Looking for flexible childcare in your home or an occasional sitter for a night out? I am an experienced nanny and daycare worker, and former West End resident looking for additional opportunities in Atlanta. I work primarily with toddlers and infants, but I'm open to any age. Currently I am working 8 - 16 hours/week with two Morningside families with a 5 month old, an 8 month old and a 2 1/2 year old.

I enjoy facilitating learning and exploration by young children. I rise to the challenge of meeting children where they are and constructively redirecting inappropriate behavior. I try to respectfully communicate with children as thoughtful, capable individuals- carefully explaining reasons for things. I have excellent references both in Atlanta and from my recent experiences doing childcare for a wonderful high energy toddler on whose parent's organic farm I was apprenticing, as well as a progressive daycare in small town Ohio where I went to school.
