WEST END ATLANTA

He always wears an army green coat with a hood. I imagine it gets quite hot. His hair is maybe an inch long, darker skin, he's probably an inch or two shy of 6 feet. Next time I see him I'll be sure to get a good look. Usually I'm just hoping he doesn't notice me (ha).

I see him mostly loitering at CVS, leaning underneath the posts.

Today he was on the other side of Abernathy (in front of the furniture store that closed last year) and yelled at me as I passed. Occasionally I see him near the MARTA station on a bench close to the Lee and RDA intersection. Lately, I have heard him from my desk as he yells toward the Wren's Nest (at me) as he passes on his way towards McDonalds.

I saw him on my morning walk last week shouting and hitting speed limit signs. He hit the business sign at the place next to Dunkin and it broke. He seemed so distressed as he was trying to pick up the pieces off the ground and fix the sign he just hit. I feel sorry for dude. Maybe if the officers can get some ID on him it may be the beginning of treatment and/or family involvement.

I will try to take a picture of him. I feel badly for anyone with mental health difficulties but I am starting to feel afraid to walk to MARTA and that isn't cool.

Thanks guys, I will forward this information to Lt. Sheppard. I am working tomorrow so if anyone wants to take on the job of calling zone four and get the information directly to her. I would really appreciate it.

Yeh, still around. He bugged me at the MARTA station on Thursday.
