Hey Everybody!

Jessica and I will be hosting the next neighborhood potluck dinner at 1162 Oglethorpe on Saturday, July 18, starting at 6pm. The theme is "Breakfast for Dinner" so bring whatever food and drink you like to eat when you're getting out of bed. Cool points for anyone who shows up in their pajamas, but use some discretion: We are eating, after all. (I'm talking to you, Pavlin.)

Please post here on the forum if you're coming and what food/drink item you're bringing! That way, we can all see what's on the menu and we don't end up with 500 slices of toast.

I'm making my favorite breakfast item: Scrambled eggs with fresh basil, tomatoes, and cream cheese. There will also be bacon, because it's just not a party without bacon...

I will make two Jamaican dishes

1) Salt fish and cabbage

2) Fried Plantain.

Yes, Beth my sister will be cooking the salt fish and cabbage, but I am cooking the fried plantain. So I have to get some credit. And may I remind everyone, my sister did not cook the dish I bought to Asian Night. (that nix the rumor, that my sister always cook the dishes I bring)

I'm kind of curious, is this a game that women can play because I am not into throwing wood around. After all, I am a lady. But then again if I have good target say "The sheriff of West End” AKA John Pavlin, I could force myself to be un-lady like.
